Do you love to play with robots? Have you ever wondered how they are made to move? In this virtual camp we will be using EdScratch, a vertical block-based visual programming language, to learn how to make our robots move! Students will learn some of the basic principles of coding as well as developing creativity and passion. This camp is open to students with a variety of experience with coding. What to expect: Two week filled with lots of coding and excitement! As a breakdown of a simple schedule: Weekends) orientation and competitions! Week days) 6 coding classes, numerous tutoring/mentoring sessions, and a variety of workshops (learn to code videos games).
This camp is for students: Youth ages 10-14 AND Undocumented, DACAmented, TPS, or come from a mixed-status family.
What you need: Computer/Phone/tablet/iPad and enthusiasm!!!
Registration includes: Edison V.2 Programable robot, batteries, lesson materials, USB Cord, virtual camp T-shirt (shipped to home address).
